How high should it hang over an island?
Hang it 30 to 36 inches above the counter. The bottom of the fixture then sits just above eye level, so the view across the island stays open.
What light does an island need?
Direct light on the counter while you cook, and a softer glow when people sit down. The Light Bar and Matrix Rings each have three zones: down spot, side ambient glow, or both. Every zone dims from the remote.
Does it work under a sloped ceiling?
