How big should a foyer chandelier be?
In a two-story entry, start from about 48 inches wide. Width gives a tall room its sense of scale.
How low should it hang?
In a walkway, keep the bottom of the fixture about seven feet above the floor, whatever the ceiling height. The ceiling only changes the length of the drop.
